Climbing 13.10.2016

As i sat on top of the mountain, I a perfect viewpoint of the town below. Rock climbing was my favourite activity. When i started climbing at the age of 7. By the age of 10 I could climb trees. By 13 I started going to more advanced place where there would be steep cliffs slippery holds. Once I became a more advanced person to climbing , I started climbing mountain tops for the bestest viewpoints. After all of my climbing I’d get some more friends to come along with me.

By the age of 21 I was starting up a  mountain when Suddenly I became aware that my equipment were losing grip on the mountain. But I thought I could make it to the top not knowing that the ground was shifting under me. I felt a shudder rising from me and then from the top of the mountain it came crashing down with speed like a running cheater more and more kept forming from the distance but I could see what was going on for at that moment something hit me on the head and caused me to get squeezed by the approaching avalanche. When I woke up I was in the hospital lying on a bed lost in a sea of faces .

After two weeks of waiting I was allowed to go hiking again. But to keep away from snowy mountains . I search for new places with better viewpoints but i could never find the right one that could show me the bestest viewpoint of the world. I find new viewpoints everywhere i go but maybe i should try biking with others to be safe.

The race 2.9.2016

As Jimmy woke up on the 7th of july, his heart was pumping like a racing cheater. He had his race coming up for little leagues who want to go into the tournament for people who could show amazing skills on motorbikes as well as stunts on motorbikes. He had only 2 hours to get his bike and get to the race track before it started. As he raced downstairs to get his gear for the race, he was stopped midway down from his sinister brother. “Where you going” said his brother with a wicked grin spreading his face “ going to the race might be late if you stand there” not waiting for an answer, Jimmy leaped past him attempting to get to his bike.

He had only jumped a few steps before his brother caught him mid air struggling to hold him. “Not so fast ay bro you might be disulfide for being SLOW” whispered Leo. then from the shout of a man, Jimmy was loaded with joy. His father had come from the garage he had been fixing jimmy’s bike. Jimmy and his father were off once leo was caught. They were at the track just in time to over hear the announcer to say the race will proceed.  Everyone was outraged to know that their own competitor wasn't going  to be disqualified for not being in sight. Then “never mind our missing competitor is going to be racing” Then jimmy was instantly gazed at from the crowd as he entered the track.

It was a long way to the end. They had to go 4 killermeters around the grounds just to get to the end. The winner was to win a permission slip to the world wide tournament in USA. “On your marks, Get set, GOOO!” screamed the commentator. Then rapidly all the other bikers raced past jimmy to win the race. But jimmy was already past most of the others and did 2 stunts already. His heart was pounding as they flew over the crest of the hill. He could taste the gritty dirt that had blown underneath his helmet, and the trickle of sweat that poured down in his neck. The roar of the engines filled his ears, and he fixed his eyes on the next jump; this was his chance to shine. Then he won the game.

“We have a winner” shouted the announcer

Maths today 28 . 07 . 2016

Today's maths work we were working on angles. We were work on three work sheets which all contained stuff about angles , angle lines or the connection of the angle . The first worksheet had four pictures with different hints to getting the answer. I had to mark them for each one they were.

The second worksheet I had to add up the other sides of what had been drawn. I had to read what was written on the paper.The equations were hard. I had to locate where the X was for me to get the answer.

The last worksheet was the hardest for that one was something our class had not learnt. I had fun learning and struggling while doing this math sheet but it showed me that I still had things to learn when doing maths.

Why I Like Playing Games

Why do I like playing games ? I like playing games because they entertain me and they give me a reason to stay home and help . I like games that have a little bit of violence and  teamwork as well . I like “black ops 3 , Call of duty warfare , MW2 , MW3 , Halo 1 ,2 , 3 , 4 , 5  , Minecraft , Pc> ( Slither , Agargo ) <PC . They all contain what I like .Games can entertain anyone who would want to play , they can play in cars or play on Pc games they can do what they want and what they like .

The special Event

Name: Mayjah Date: 21 . 6 . 2016

When we returned from our special event down in glen innes center , Room 7 came back with a joyous look on our faces . When we returned we were to be instructed from room 2s teacher . We were to wait outside of our overgrown hall waiting to be called into it for what waited inside . After 3 or 2 minutes of waiting we started to talk about what we did downtown “That was fun doing that” “when are we going to go back” “what do you think is going to be waiting inside” said the curious students . After a while we were called into the hall from a very odd looking man with a gray beard and a white haircut .

When we entered we were all in amazement for what stood in front of us . The principal told room 7 to room 12 that we were to wait for the little kids to finished . After a confusion of where to sit we all sorted ourselves when we heard the principal speak his speech “Hello school , I’m sure you’se are all fasternatied right now but the food that is on your plate is called a “hangi” and it was originally from New zealand so now I would like you all to bow your heads for me to say grace” . Seconds later we were waiting to be put into tables for our food that had a divine smell . But when we had to wait for them to finish ,The students began to argue with each other “We should sit there so we can get our plates first before the others” “Nah we should sit next to the boys so we can talk to them” “Who stole my money” “What did yous do to my toy” "what's taking so long" " Uttered the furious students .

Then there was a loud argue between a random boy and an unknown girl about each other's size and weight . When they both stopped talking to each other Mrs lamis came around with a box full of can drinks . everyone was waiting to get a drink because of their thirst for Fizzy drinks . When we all got a drink everyone began to argue again about things . When the juniors were finished we were called to the tables to eat our hangi but the attitude was getting even worser .

After 2 minutes the students who surrounded me started to get very angry with each other but when the food came around everyone fell silent . After 1 and a half minutes they were all talking about how the hangi tasted delicious . Later I left before anyone else feeling happy about the hangi . Finally my friend came chasing after me for a game of soccer .

Cementing mug 3 . 6 . 2016

Cementing mug is very hard to create ,  when making a cement mug , take four , 20 centimeter pieces of wood and nail them into a square to make a frame .

Once the nails are in , get a flat piece of cardboard and lay it under the box . Next sellotape outside the box with the hook half in and half out then be careful not to place the hook in the wrong way or else the cement mug won’t be right . Then sellotape it carefully and cut out any other pieces of cardboard on the outside of the sellotape . After that mix up some cement with 3 cups of cement and 1 cup of water and wait until it is mixed well , until it looks rough and soft . when it is ready put in a cup or some spoons for design .

Then when that is finished , put the cement into the box with the design and wait for 2 or 3 days until it is dry . Then when it is dry  take the box with the cement in it and pull it off the sellotape then paint it any color except the bottom . Then the cement mug could be a little photo or an ornament .

Lemon Cupcakes 20.5.2016

On Tuesday after morning tea my teacher miss Tu’akoi said to the class pack up we are going to the hall now for the baking while I was still packing up my book miss Tu’akoi said unto me where is your netbook then I reply to her it broken.

1 ¼ cup of sugar

Rind of 2 lemon

2 egg

1 cup of oil

1 cup of yogurt

2-3 tbs

1 cup of self raising flour

Then I ask her what are we baking and she said we are going to bake Lemon yogurt cupcake. I was so glad and happy because this is my first time eating Lemon yogurt cupcake.

As miss tu’akoi started baking she said unto the student the first thing I am going to mix is one and one quarter cup of sugar and rind of two lemon then she added two eggs and one cup of oil.

Then she mix it for a few minute and then she added the one of yoghurt and 2-3tbs and the last thing she added was the I cup of self raising flour.  Then she put it in the oven for 20 to 25 minute then we have to go back to class and wait for miss lamiss to avme with it when it is ready.

“Left right left” hello my name is mayjah and I will be talking about another maths game called 2048 . This game is simple , you start of with only a few numbers like “4” or “2” . For example you would get a 2 and a 4 but they would not add up so when you move around in your cube more numbers will come .

Once they both have the same number they can add more as well. But if the cube is full of numbers that cant add any more the game would tell you the score you have reached and your best if you have past your best then the numbers will start to get harder.

The kid who had no friends 13 . 5 . 2016

TOTO TOTO TOTO the clock sang it’s annoying song , the sky was blue and white with a burning sun , the day was very lame and I was lying in my bed being the dumbest kid in the school . I would usually just sit in my room and beg my mom to make my lunch which would most likely end up with me making it , but today I just wanted to be alone.

As I walk to school I feel the sun burn against my skin , the school is about a 5 minute run but today it felt like I was running forever . I finally got to school . The gate has a light green color and as I walk around  the uniform is black . There are people walking around with books in there hands . But not me , I have never worn my uniform and I have never  done well I am often found in the classroom throwing paper planes around or throwing the ball in class . If I am not I would be in detention . The only thing I have ever been good at is maths , my friends do not know this because I have never finished my homework .

The days roll by as fast as lightning and winter is coming fast the christmas holidays are coming as well . There is a poster on the wall in the hallway which I saw after lunch that said advertising for a group to sing in the christmas play , My grades have improved now and the teachers are happy but sometimes I wonder around school alone . I enter the play and make new friends.

My favourite Lady 4 / 5 / 2016

Intro:

She looked like an angel that had come from something i have never seen , The smell was like a sweet vanilla and the dress looked like a flower from heaven , i looked at the face. It had light brown eyes with tan skin , My favourite Lady and her dark chocolate hair.  Her age was in the late 30ths and her skin was smooth as silk.

you could smell the delicious smell like an angels cooking , the house would be swept , polished , neat and it would smell like vanilla. The wind will blow in with a soft breeze , the kitchen would have apples on it with a banana . The rooms upstairs would be boomed with slow and musical waves from the TV’s . The rooms would have a lot on equations and posters and photo’s of my family.

The ground would be filled with tears and the argument would be loud , the adults would be crying and would be sad of their lost , my mother would be sad and silent for hours crying about what had happened . She would go in the room and wait until she was ready to hear what had caused it.

Conclusion

My mother is the bestest thing that has happened to me i love my mother for being there when i almost got kicked out of school and i would  love to repay her with my love and gratitude.

Jam turnover 15.4.2016

As the day of school was going to begin for teaching our teacher told us to be ready at 9:15 . When the bell had rung we all sprinted to class to be enrolled when that was finished we had to go outside to do our laps. When we had finished our laps we had to go into 2 groups ( volley or netball ) the girls had to go play netball while some will play volley with the boys . When we were all finished we went inside to get ready for our cooking.We had just gotten to the class when our teacher told us the words of the day Noticed , Crucial , Delicate , Rugged and Blubber . After that we all had lined up to go to the hall.

When we got to the hall me and my friends Sini and Sione were told to go and get a chair and wait. When everyone had got a chair Miss Ramklown had started to talk about what we were going to make a Jam turnover “ right today we will be going to make a jam turnover” she said . After she was finished talking we had been told to go to a table and get into a group of 4 me and my friends and a boy from room 8. We went to the last table and were given pastry and were told until further instruction. Then whenever one had been set on a table we had been given a knife to slice the pastry into quarters .  When we had all cut the pastry we had got the jam. It was apricot jam and had a big jar but we had only to use half a teaspoon then we had to turn the pastry to half way and Poke forks in the side. After that we were told to wait until we were finished.

After we had done everything we went back to class so we could do our work and to wait for the turnover. Then after 5 minutes they arrived and we had none in 2 minutes.

Dirty room 1/4/16

As I trudge into my sister's room I find myself seeing a Place of disasters , The floor is packed with toys, Cloths, Dirty greasy socks and  a horrible smell .The Walls are filled with  Pizza , posters and Books , I found myself looking up at the ceiling and to my surprise there is nothing there.

I go around the room to look around , I see Choker roaches  Scurrying around empty Pizza Boxes and I get a glimpse of  cloths under the bed with pairs of old tatty shoes and a Disgusting smell coming from the closet. I Bolt to observe  what was making the reeking smell. When I get close to open the door knob I catch sight of sports shoes that had been a pair of unhygienic sports shoes. I try to get at a distances from the odor but the bedroom door is out of range.

Instead of the door I flung myself out of the window just in time to overhear the door being swung open by the my mother. I darted my way pass town to find an excuse. When the sun was falling into space I bolted back home to go to slumber asleep.

As I start to play my maths game I wait until it says I can start, the screen changes and the white background has gone it showed me a title called ( welcome to maths play) I then click the the words and the screen changed again. It said on the screen to pick one of four teams ( 1 player, 2 player, 3 player, 4 player ) I had chosen 1 player then it had changed the screen again.

The screen changed And I had a choice to chose 1 of 4 characters. I had chosen the first person in the line a man  with blond hair. I had clicked on him and the he had put up a sign that said ( excellent choice ) then a text box had appeared and said ( click to continue ) then I had clicked it and then the screen had changed again. 12 square boxes had appeared the screen had said to fill in all the boxes with answer it was hard to get them all right because some had millions of numbers. at the end of it all  I had finished with 2600 points I had only 400 more points to get a perfect then I had seen the screen change.

The screen had changed with a black background and the boxes disappeared and the character that I had chosen and my score had appeared on top. I had seen fireworks go off and then the Finally words had appeared (you have finished the game). I was happy and glad to finish.

Chocolate tasting 1.4.2016

As I put the delightful food in my mouth I start to feel its taste tingling with my taste bud. it tastes sweet and sugary with its great coco taste and then it pops like a balloon in my mouth .

When I had seen the milky food.  I Felt the small Devine thing and I was waiting for my teacher to tell the class to eat it. When the class had got a heavenly chocolate our teacher told us to taste it I could hear the others crunch the soft thing, I heard my friends crack theirs and then I look at mind, It was light and squishy. I read what was titled on top (Dairy milk) I didn't hear what Mrs tuakoi was saying until I ate the delicious chocolate.

I heard it break multiple times as I tasted it, the square chocolate lost its color the darkish brown was gone from my mouth and went down my throat.

Math Game 21.3.2016

Hello I am going to be talking about a maths game called

“Maths facts Pro”  it is a simple maths game with 4 stages. In each stage the computer will put a message on the screen that will tell you to write your name on it. Then when you've got your name on the screen it will tell you of you got a suitable name or not If you do have a suitable name it will then change the screen. When it is finish the screen will show four boxes on every boxe it will have a title that will say what they are. When you have selected the stage it will then change and say what is your year age then when you have got that ready the screen will change. It will show four options “50 , 75 , 100” or unlimited then when you have selected your number for which you want to play for the screen will change with a calculator and a text to write on.

As I walked into an unknown room I find myself being seeing a realm of my nightmares , The floor  is filled with toys, Cloths, Dirty socks and  a horrible smell , The Walls are filled with  Pizza , posters and Books , I found myself looking up at the ceiling and to my surprise there is nothing there.

Totara Blog 23.3.2016

Last week my class ( Room 7) was to write about a class  that has called themselves the Totara team's blog. Our told us to get a few lines or words that we like and put it on a document it was amazing what they had wrote on their blog it had a lot of expensive words and figurative language. My favorite one that they wrote was from a boy called lachlan most of his writing was (Similes, Metaphors, Onomatopoeia , Alliteration , optimistic and hyperbole). It might have been the best to me but I wouldn’t have known Because they all had good writing in them.

Division Math 11.3.2016

Today Friday the 11 of March i have been playing this maths game it is called Division drag race it is a game of speed you have to be fast to win the game. When you start the game you can play online or offline if you chose online you will race other players on internet but if you play offline you will be facing the computers. There is a maxim of 3 of them and one player. I like this game because it is division And I like to learn more maths. 

                          

  

Ferrari prize 19/2/2016

Paragraph 1 The prize

it was a rainy day I had been walking down a street when a poster got my attention “ have a wonderful adventure around a jungle and find 3 items and you will win a great ferrari “ I told myself that I had to get that car. I had signed up for it there were other names as well they had saw the sign as well I was told to go to a location near a old house. The sign had got 7 maps on it to tell us where to go I had to go in and to a door that lead down very deep in the ground I had been confused. it lead me to a tunnel underground  and in the mist I had seen the most magnificent view ever it had been a mini city. I had to go to a large tower with it saying “ adventureland “ I walked in and was puzzled to see 6 other people gazing at me with fasternating looks. I met them all they had told me how they had seen the sign as well then I very tall man came in and welcomed us to adventureland then he told us all to follow him we did of cause.

 Paragraph 2 the beginning of the adventure

When he had stopped he had told us to look to our left and there they were not one ferrari but 3 of them I looked dazzled at him but did not speak a word he said that we were to wait until mrs maker comes in. We all looked at each other and then one person said “ who is the maker” we all looked at the tall man for an answer but he just walked of and said “ the boss”. We had waited for a while but then we had seen a man come in  and said “hello I am mrs Maker the owner of those cars and the founder of this building” we all just stood there and gazed at him. After a while i began asked questions he had answer all of them and then one of the others said “when are we going to get the car” he looked at them and said “you will start now there is a jungle about 20 miles away from the city just head north” we all were dropped of out of the city but was told to go the rest of the way.

Paragraph 3 Finding all items

we had been spilt into 3 groups 2 in each group then we had set off to go and get the the items my group searched high from the top of the trees to the bottom of the ground. About 2 hours into the adventure my helper had said he seen something and indeed he did he found 1 of the three items we had searched for another one and we saw it on top of the tallest tree. We had 2 of the 3 items and then we had seen the last one but it had been snachted by another group they had seen us with the two other items. Then they said “ we have found them all now we can get our car But then huge ferocious beast came out and went after us all we had hid in the tree. After the beast had left we all went back for a timer had been set we would win the prize and get our car. We did and me and my friend had won 2 cars and the other went to the group who found the other item.
